
Great Plains, Charity Event – Safari in Kenya
The Great Plains Foundation is a US 501(c)3 organization with a mission to conserve and expand natural habitats in Africa through innovative conservation initiatives with a long-term commitment to the environment, wildlife, and local communities. The Foundation works to realize this mission through conservation and community initiatives, and wildlife and environmental stewardship in Africa. All of the Great Plains Foundation activities are supported by charitable and in-kind donations.
Great Plains Conservation with 13 luxurious safari camps in Botswana, Kenya and Zimbabwe. They support the Great Plains Foundation I Preserve, Rescue and Recover with valuable projects in Botswana, Kenya and Zimbawe.
Behind the company are renowned South African conservationists and filmmakers Dereck and Beverly Joubert. Longtime collaborators with National Geographic, they have produced numerous wildlife documentaries and have received eight Emmy Awards for their work.
Photographer Beverly Joubert
Beverly Joubert is an internationally acclaimed wildlife photographer, filmmaker and conservationist. Her work has been featured in National Geographic for decades and she has co-produced numerous award-winning wildlife documentaries together with Dereck Joubert. Through her photography and storytelling, she brings global attention to Africa’s wildlife and conservation challenges.
